Review of the New Knight Rider

Well this should be a first for the site. Our first review “YEA”!!!!

But now, Lets get down to Business shall we!!

New Knight Rider

Well first of all take a look at that logo^^^.  It’s Definitely cool looking, but it doesn’t alway mean it going to be a cool movie. Well this time it was a cool movie.

Now Knight Rider ain’t Knight Kider with out K.I.T.T right. Well this time the chose to use a Ford Mustang GT 500 KR :

Wait, KITT is a mustang now!!

Nuff babbling about the Minor details. Time for the nitty gritty.

For a atempt to revive intrest for Knight Rider. To me it was a very good. The movie’s plot line, soild but has lots of twist and turns with it. The way they flowed the old Knight Rider series into this move was near perfect. Which is very good due the to orignal series began and ended in the 80’s.

Now about the thing that been the major concern and upset to a LOT of people. KITT being Ford Mustang.  To me, I think it was a great for KITT to be a Mustang. But to alot of people, They wanted KITT to be the way he was. Or atleast be another GM car like the Corvett. Which I can totaly understand. But which car looks tougher, The Mustang of the Corvett? Me, I’d pick the mustang. But, if GM would of had the new Camero out by now. I think NBC would of chose it over the Mustang in a Heart Beat. But it wasn’t out so they had to chose the Next Best Thing Which was the Mustang.

So, what my overall rating of the movie. Well since this being our First review. We’ll just use the ”0 to 5 stars” system for now. Maybe later I can come up with our own rating system. But for now, I give this movie 4 1/2 stars. Which is great for a wonderful TV Movie based of of a great 80’s TV series.

Well thats all the time we have right now. This is nightwheel of The Useless Site of Technology and i hope you enjoyed our review. See ya

Now by all means, please coment. Or if your fealing generous, you could digg our site. We could realy use the good publicity.

  1. I agree… I was skeptical at first, but after watching the movie came out convinced that the Mustang was the best choice to fill the role as KITT. Certainly beat the super bland-looking Pontiac GTO or the plastic abomination that the last-generation Trans Am was. I enjoyed the movie too.

  3. Thank you Felix and Jimmy for your coments.

@Felix: Your totaly right. The GTO and GM plastic sports car defently would not have been good choices at all.

@Jimmy: It’s fine you don’t like it. Some of us do and some of us don’t. But me, I like it. Ans since your not me. You don’t have to like it. Anyways go enjoy you self and watch the old series.

  4. The NBC line up tonight was a right wing stage production. The rank and file foot soldiers were flexing their muscles and flags with force.

Also, this was a terrible blog post. I don’t mean that to be mean, but it’s true. This was just rushed out mere minutes after the “movie” closed so you could be on Digg.

    Show some integrity, man!

  8. This movie was HORRIBLE. I mean I get the whole cheesy 1980’s crap, but I mean look what they did to Miami Vice. Cheesy cop drama and turned into a good stand up movie. Knight Rider had so much potential but there were so many new characters all the time, and mini cliff hangers. I mean how suspenceful can the 2 hour movie be…we know everyone is going to survive because this is going to be a new series. And what was with the whole lesbian FBI agent thing…we could of done with out…I mean hot as she was, she never showed up again and the movie was still bad…

  9. I liked the use of the Mustang, But the show turned into one big Ford commercial. The scene of the hero being in bed with two bimbos and and the female cop being a lesbian was really over the top and gratuitous. Clearly, this movie was not intended for anyone with any life experience, i.e. raising a family in a marital relationship. It was such pandering to the tiny queer/nihilist demographic. Also, the bad guys were members of a private security firm-”Black River,” a clear reference to “Blackwater,” the private firm doing really really difficult work in the middle east that our military can’t really do, like bodyguard, VIP security, etc. This was a weird left wing/Moveon.org insert. God forbid the bad guys in a Hollywood movie should be like the real life bad guys, like, oh, I don’t know, maybe the Muslim Jihadists who slaughter innocents on a daily basis all over the world. So, a Ford car commercial, pandering to queer/lesbian/sexual libertines, mysterious right wing political bad guys, a lame plot and awful acting, and you have a really bad movie and not a series I would look forward to seeing again. I wonder who the highly paid brainiac at Ford is who thought that this dog would be something good to be the force behind.

  10. I think this show was garbage. I have not been able to find one review, negative or positive, stating that the stunt driving sucked. But it did. Sure there was some fast driving, but they did not even bother to jump a car! Watch any one of the old Knight Rider or Dukes of Hazzard and you should realize that this show completely fails at the one thing it most needs to succeed: Good stunt driving with real stunts (not the one CGI crash).

This thing should not have been made, and was no more than a two hour Ford commercial.
